Today’s contemporary works cannot be perfected without understanding and appreciating classic pieces, created by successful choreographers from the past. Singapore Dance Theatre pays tribute to works that continue to provide inspiration for today’s choreographers.
Tradition into Future will feature pieces such as George Balanchine’s masterpiece Allegro Brillante, Goh Choo San’s award-winning Pas De Deux from the ballet Momentum, dancer-choreographer Daniel Roberts’ complexly divided Hold The Fourth and 2006 National Choreographic Competition (Chicago, Illinois) winner Edwaard Liang’s As Above, So Below.
