Alt(étude)! is a food and funfair carnival organized by a group of enterprising young students from Nanyang

Girls’ High School who are keen on raising awareness of children’s cancer. This social cause is a part of their Youth for Causes project, jointly organized by Citibank and YMCA. Held alongside a free concert centerpiece, all funds from the carnival will go toward the Children’s Cancer Foundation. It will be hosted at Bishan Active, on 5th September 2010, from 10am to 7pm, with a wide range of booths – sumptuous food and beverages generously provided by sponsors and exciting games designed to appeal to all ages. The talented youths performing in the aesthetic showcase are a shining beacon of love and hope for those in the Children’s Cancer Foundation and their families – of which 50-100 will be present at the carnival. Apart from enjoying themselves, visitors will be educated on the myths of childhood cancer. Ultimately, it is hoped that those who visit the carnival are similarly inspired to lend a hand to CCF, or perhaps even champion a cause for the less fortunate, young and old alike.
