Default WORLDview 360 @ South West : A Youthnique Fiesta 2007

The search is now ON for Facilitators for WORLDview 360 @ South West : A Youthnique Fiesta 2007! :rock:

As a WORLDview facilitator, you will:

>Be trained as a mentor for business proposal at the WORLDview 2007 Facilitators Training Camp held between 10 and 11 March 2007;

>Gain priority admission to talks and a forum during the WORLDview Experience Week between 16 and 22 April 2007;

>Get the chance to interact with corporate, entrepreneurs and distinguished personalities during the WORLDview networking cocktail;

>Be part of a team of dynamic international and local youths who will realize South West Community Development Council's flagship event in April 2007;

>Get to hone your leadership skills, receive training or practical advice in skill-sets relevant in the corporate world;

>Network with commercial and governmental decision makers, and be mentored by a pool of resource persons who are established in their fields of expertise;

>Gain experience in organising a large scale event and receive due acknowledgements; and

>Most importantly, have fun, build bonds with other young leaders and positively impacting the community!

You should preferably be above the age of 21, be willing to put in the hours, able to commit to the event by being present on 10th and 11th Mar for the Facilitators' Training Camp (residential), 14th and 15th April (residential), 28th April (day), as well as make yourself available to your assigned team from 16th to 28th April to mentor and assist them in completing their proposal and other assigned tasks!

If you are who we are looking for, or you would like to recommend a friend, please follow the simple steps below to join us!

1. Forward this mail to worldviewyouth@gmail.com with your completed answers to the questions below. If you are recommending someone, just forward this mail to your friend and go to step 5.

2. Keep this date free: Sunday 10 and 11 of February (between 9am and 11pm) as we may arrange to interview you.

3. We will call by Sunday 7 February if we have shortlisted you for the interview on either 10 or 11 February.

4. Show up for the interview at the scheduled time slot

5. That's it!

About WORLDview Youth Conference

WORLDview Youth Conference (WORLDview) is a signature programme organised by the South West Community Development Council (CDC) to engage youths in Singapore to think globally and contribute locally. As part of our initiatives to nurture a spirit of active citizenry among our youths, the event also draws on youths from different cultural backgrounds to engage them in playing a part to build a strong and healthy relationship among peers of different nationalities and backgrounds, and contributingpositively back to our community. This year, the conference is titled "WORLDview 360 @ South West: A Youthnique Fiesta". As the title suggests, the conference aims to provide participants with a 360 degree view of the subject "Social Enterprise".

Do sign up to be a facilitators. It will be fun to meet students from local and international institutions.

Khai may I know what is the time commitment (from what time to what time) required for the training camp as well as the mentorship of the assigned teams? I'm interested but I may have to re-schedule my appointment and working commitments & possibly night classes. before I do that, I would like to check with you first.
