WCG Singapore 2008 is a prestigious event where gamers gather at Suntec Singapore(7th- 10th August) to compete against other gamers to win great prizes. This year is unlike any other years, more games are been officially recognized and played this year. Champions of these games will get a chance to represent Singapore in the World Cyber Games held in Germany or World Cyber Games Asian Championship also held at Suntec Singapore (9th - 10th August).

Registration for World Cyber Games 2008 @ Suntec City is now open!

Date: 7th – 10th August 2008 (Thursday to Sunday)
Time: 10am to 10pm
Venue: Suntec Convention Hall 402-403

Open Category Games (all nationality):
• DotA - $75 per team
• Call of Duty 4 - $25 per team
• Halo 3 (4v4) - $20 per team

Singapore National Finals Games (only Singaporeans):
• Counterstrike 1.6 - $75 per team
• StarCraft: Bloodwars - $5 per person
• Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne - $5 per person
• Age of Empire III: The War Chiefs - $10 per person
• Need for Speed: Pro-street (PC) - $5 per person
• Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath - $5 per person
• Halo 3 (4v4) - $40 per team
• Guitar Heroes III - $10 per person
• Project Gotham Racing 4 - $10 per person
• Fifa 08 (PC) - $5 per person

Participants are entitled to a goodie bag and a WCG 2008 T-shirt each!

Participants are to note that there is an age-limit for Singapore National Finals Halo 3. Anyone born after Nov.6th, 1990 will not be allowed to participate.

Closing date for registration: 1st August 2008 (Friday)
• All payment of registration fees MUST be made by this date.

Registration fees may be paid via online payment as well as manual payment. Venues for manual payment are as follows:
• Funan DigitaLife Mall: 3rd – 6th July (12noon – 6pm)
• SAFRA Mount Faber: 18th – 19th July (12noon – 6pm)

Steps to make manual payment?
1. Sign up for the tournament you intend to join on eSportsC http://www.esportsc.com/index.php?op...ament&Itemid=5 , under the different categories.

2. Register yourself or your team under the manual payment section

3. Make payment at the above venues before the registration closing
dates of the tournament
4. Look for Andrei at the registration counter to make payment

• There will be no reservation of slots via phone or email

• Registration is only complete upon receipt of full registration fees either by cash or credit card (for online payment)

• For manual payment, we advise participants to make payment as soon as you have sign up for the tournament either at our office or through the venues available above. Rapture Gaming will not be liable for any discrepancies of UNPAID registrations slots incurred during this period.
