Hello,

anybody working in power craving place where by if you listen to your boss you can do whatever you like. If you don listen, you working life is full of shit!!!

I mean, some people when work is really independent, confident and does their work properly and get whatever the customer needs. Customer are satisfied but because of your working style, your boss might not like it... He want you to listen to him... This is absurd

Your other colleagues who can't really work and never OT, gets to go back at sharp time and get easy job...not fair.. cos they listen to their boss...But i don think this kind of people can really survive in their next job cos they can't really work.

What do you people think?

most companies r like tat esp mnc.... it depends on hw u deal with ur superiors and ur attitutde towards them.... mi in simliar env almost everytime quarrel with manager n director... bt they r quite ok with mi outside project related matters as i get things done..... when they use to defend other colleagues.... i simply cant be bother n use quality wk to prove my pt... after a while they will see who really can wk...

of cos u can get urself involve in the office policits bt u wont like it once u get involve n u wont be able to step out after tat...so best is just do ur thing n ignore......................

not into polities cos not interested. but sometimes people like wan u to get involve. they wan u to join them so u be part of them.

but i can surely said that although some people recognised your work but they also doesn't want to really get involve...

that is a sad thing...

Sometimes it's difficult to avoid office politics.. because somehow you just got suck into it. Really frustrating.. when you;re trying to get things done and all these external factors getting in the way.

if that's the case, then the company is no good... will fold sooner or later.... hahahaa... this kinda boss, how to make money?!

yes i do agree that is very difficult. im already netural but sometimes ppl just got into your feet.

I tel u there are a lot of such companies around but they are earning big bucks...but i believe in a company there will be like department changes like around every 5-10years.
whereby everybody will resigned and new ppl gets in...

where they r pple woekin tgr, there will b politics....
where there r percieved unfair spread of fairness n resources(time, space, $$$$, face, ranks etc), there will be politics....
the only diff s the diff extent n how u react to them...
it s good tat u r equipped wz some kind of defensive skills even if u dun 1 2 get invloved....
at least learn how to protect urself....

one good skill s to build rapport n excecise n develop certain kind of influence over some of the key players....
dun get involve ya...
EQ n street smartness r v v important here....

One thing bad is when bad groups flow in 1 water...
either of the groups are not good. Other dept might be better but i think the best thing is to add ignorance of what they said.

I realised one thing is that some women are really petty over little trifle stuff and are damn damn selfish...they didn kw it themselves...i got 1 friend who kws that there are no good people at our dept. I have been keeping real low profile just do my work nicely and job done...other ppl don even dare to say yr work...

keeping low profile is not a solution to the problem... its juz hiding n running.. but the problem still exist... the solution is to have personal principle.. u believe in wat u wanna believe in.. if u believe u did the right thing.. why care abt wat others say.. if not happy with the job.. find another one... why cling on to something that u r afraid of..

power struggle is common thing... i hv seens alot.. to me its a joke.. sometimes they can do something so stupid juz to prove a point.. so u hv to decide whether to be part of this ra-ra show...

yes i believe keeping low profile is not a solution to the problem. actually to solve the problem..i believe that the company should do something to solve it. Sometimes its to political which they said. But i do believe its human mind and hearts that are working too hard on them...i always think that for company sake we should all work together as a team and not as a group.

I think a lot of bosses are making a mistake to hear only from one side of the story....anyway...im deciding already to leave or not by end of this mth... this is not the way to work man!!!

well...i got 3 job offers before i leaving already.

i will say, stay neutral...
but make frds wz everybody....
i had worked part time in a place where they r some v senior aunties who r v v commandin n unfriendly...
but after the 1st wk, i managed 2 "seduce" them n one of them even showed me her secret recipe for makin almond jelly....

it s all up to individual skills of buildin rapport n workin ard....
it takes a lot of guts, opportunities n quick thinkin at play....
styin low profile wont do much good when u become a threat to them without u realisin it....
die also dunnoe why n how....
