It is human nature for us to want to 'build our own nests'. That is , to own our very own home, have our own family (wife/husband/children) and in order to have all that, we have to get married.
Marriage is also a natural phase in everyone's life. Not everyone wants to proceed to that phase but the majority of people do. Dating, is the first step to seeking romance, love and ultimately a longer lasting relationship culminating in marriage, hopefully. :handsup:
If you have found someone who loves you and whom you love, you'll think seriously about settling down. Marriage is not just a legal contract, it's a commitment between two persons (must be one male, one female lah) to live together for the rest of their lives as one. As one means, unified in their decisions-making, unified in times of sorrow, hardship or difficulties.
