As for me, I am a diploma from Malaysia, came to Singapore and work. And now I am Asst. Manager.
I see many fresh graduates from Singapore universities do not work well in their worklife. They seems to be still in their universities. So many resign or job hop.
We, Malaysian, do not job hop around, but if there is good opportunity, we will weigh our objectives first, before we change job. |

S'poreans also weigh their objectives and goals before making a decision to change jobs. The same as everyone else.
You come across as having a superior complex. I have seen many M'sians display very undesirable traits in the workplace, but I feel that this is generally the same no matter what nationality you are. There are black sheep everywhere. |

I had seen many people from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
It is the attitude of the graduates, that is the most important.
What do you think? |

The issue of work permit prevents foreign expats from job hopping easily. | Quote: | | | Originally Posted by Low KP | | | | | It is the attitude of the graduates, that is the most important. | | | | | Obviously. What do you think? | | | | | What do i think? Well...regardless of what country you are from, if you found a better paying job than the one you are paying..i don't see what reason that prevents you from moving on. And i also believes that moving around in different companies will widening your knowledge about your job and also to know more people in the related field.
Frankly speaking, there are many people holding a degree or Masters these days. You can actually 'throw' a stone at someone on the street and hit a grad!( I don't mean it literally!!):biggrin4:
So maybe the employers of the company may find that they are 'over-qualified' for the job. Thus maybe this can explain why there are many unempolyed grads. NuRsEs ArE AnGeLs In DiSgUiSe |
