Why are the sides of my nose tip always red?

I have this red thingy all around my nose (the tip there not bridge), and sometimes my nose area is red. I think they are scars left by diminished pimples. Very ugly leh...to have purplish-red stuff there. Any ways to cure it? I tried scrubbing but doesn't work...HELP!

it is a type of skin problem. not a serious one just red nose.
have u ever been sun burn on ur face before?
if so, thats the main problem.
