u mentioned we must know what love means to u.. ironically, u dunno what love is about.. love can be a lot of things.. but it's definitely not about winning.. in fact, if u are truly in love, u dun mind losing.. as long as ur loved one is happy.

maybe u misunderstood my previous post.. i guess my ideas are too weird for most ppl to understand.. haha! i may not know what or who i want.. but i do know the kind of 'feel' i'm looking for.. ^^

actually i dont understand.. why is so many ppl afraid of getting hurt in love? u mean u guys really believe that purely-happiness-and-absolutely-no-hurt love exists? -.-"

some egs:

- a violinst will hurt his fingers while trying to master the skill
- a ballerina will hurt her feet while perfecting her dance moves
- most of us have fell and/or hurt ourselves while learning various sports.. i.e. cycling, mountain climbing.. and the list goes on..

even a baby has to fall down many times before it learns to walk..

y should learning to love, to care, to maintain a relationship be any different? if u are always scared of getting hurt, u cant move out of ur comfort zone.. u wont be able to find the kind of love u want..

but of cos if u have just been 'injured' in love, it's perfectly ok for u to rest and recouperate before u attempt it again.. just like how u shd rest and wait until ur physical wounds have healed b4 doing streneous exercises again.

just my personal beliefs lah.. not sure if they make sense to u guys or not.

The occasional heartache still stings much.. It's like someone reaching into your heart and just squeezing it slowly.. Then the pain starts from your heart and sends waves of pain to the rest of your body. Ouch.
Then, I start to cry. Whenever I cry, or I guess whenever girls cry, most of us wish that our tears would was the pain away.. That after we finish crying, our problems would just vanish. ='[

i think it s best to let go but learn something about wat u had let go...
accept the way it had been n accept wat it will b comin wz open mind n open heart...

i m not qualify to advise on tis becos i had freezed up myself n let my heart die for many many yrs previously....
but it s always good to let go n move on....
dun let wat had happened dragged u further....
at least u wont use the many many yrs time...

Hey girl, I've to agree with you on that too. Even after going thru failed rships one after the other, I've been hurt countless times, but I guess over time, we'll all realise it's a learning experience. Wounds are there to remind us of our victory in the end, I guess...

It's like, people aren't labelled a failure until they give up and start to blame others.

The most important thing, is for us not to be afraid of giving our all. I gave my all, and I do not regret it that the last relationship didn't work out. At least I've done my best.

Love is something that cannot be seen, touch and taste.
But it can hurt you in the way that u can feel every aspect above.

You know you are in love when someone melts your heart.
You know you are hurt when all things turn senselss to you
