okay i got something to share here

I'm a Normal Tech student and I do hear many people were anti and stereotypes about NT students .
I just gotten my sa1 results and my L1B2 was 9points that means I can go to any course I want but the lower the points the better it is .
I think I really need to study hard . I need to clarrify something .

Is it possible for me to go straight to ITE and study hard from there and go to Poly .
or waste one year to take private school .

because there 1 things lingering my mind .

nowadays work company they hired people who graduated from ITE because they got experience in hands on works . am I right ?

Well, i think it's better to go ITE straight and do well there instead since you are an NT student. This is because if you were to take private O's. It will be hard to catch up on Exp/Normal Sciences and Humanities. It's not possible to do that in one year.

On the other hand, take a longer route and excel in ITE, and progress from there.

because i did advice to them doesn't mean u don't have O lvl cert in life u cannot survive .
just matter if u really study hard from ite then go to poly then go for further studies and excel from there .
but since they want O lvl cert , just let them be .

I never been done that path of ITE to Poly...

But i think Private Os must be pretty tough if you don't have support

So i think ITE then to Poly then to Uni perhaps is the easier route =)

Though remember to focus on what you want in the end always =)

private "o"s is really hard to catch up with, my friend failed like crazy even though he tried his best, now he can only go out working with no cert in hands(seems like he cant go ITE as well cos he dun have NT cert too)

so i would recommend u to go ITE and do very well in it, at least its the safest route if u want go poly frm NT...also, by graduating frm ITE, when u go poly u will have a easier time, like my friends all are like slacking de, cos they learn most of the things already...

also, ITE does have many practicals frm wat i heard frm my friend, but sometimes in poly, they also dun understand some things, for us is circuits....

also, if u go POLY after graduating frm ITE, u can concentrate more on some subjects u nvr learn in ITE while others work like crazy to cope with everything....

so think abt it=)

Go to ITE, don't waste time and resources.

Nowadays going from ITE to Poly not so tough already coz people more open to the fact that ITE people can be equally as smart and way more hardworking as poly students.

u can go poly if u do well in ITE, min gpa to apply for poly must be at least 3.5.

nitec 2 years (gpa min 3.5) ---> poly

i advise u it's not easy to score 3.5, u must put in a lot of effort to do well.

btw wat course u wanna apply?

Go to ITE. If you have the determination to do well, you'll be able to proceed on to poly after that. I have two cousins who are now in poly after finishing ITE.

yeah yeah . imagine staying in the west going to the east .
but that the course u really interested , why not sacrifice the time and make the travel and gain some knowledge haha
