It seem like getting Wii modded is not as easy like the other game console.

Could you kindly enlighten me which set and what mod is best and stable for the Wii??

I am very interested to get one but dont wish to get a wrong one.

i'm looking for a wii too.. but dunno whether to get the jap or the local version. since i'm going to mod it, i shud just buy the jap set cos i can still play us games? plus its cheaper?

Seems like not much place to mod wii now and news is that new wii sets released in future cannot be modded. Dunno whether to get a set now.

sorry man, i just begun my internship for 1 week so i haven been reading the forums BUT BUT BUT, the new sets all can be upgraded already!

currently both brands are both rolled out, wasabi2 and d2pro2. wasabi2 i have personally not seen it yet, plus wikipedia hasn't update a single thing on it so whether the drive incompatibility issue is solved or not, i'm not too sure. but the first d2pro2 set was delivered yesterday, so awaiting feedback on it..

the troublesome part for me is that the modding needs 1 week turnaround time.. so some of you may not be patient enough to wait for it..

and finally, my page has been updated again (no longer a brochure).. yep. i guess many of you have oredi read it.

Hi all! Need help from all you Wii gurus. I just bought a mod US Wii today. Shop guy told me can go online no prob. I managed to set up the wireless connection but then it prompts me to upgrade the system. And warns that if I have any unauthorised modifications, the upgrade would cause my Wii to brick.

What should I do?! I can't go online until I pass this stage! Pls help! So far most bricking stories I've heard is game-related. Has anyone gotten "Bricked" going online? Is it safe and what does it all mean?

internet updates are safe.. if u din get wiikey. =) for wiikey u need to do the wiikey firmware update first b4 updating ur set to the latest firmware.

for other mods, currently it's fine to update via the internet.. =)
