i think minimum 2 years. to understand the person well. probably have to live togethe for awhile, to see if can accept my partner for who he is and whether i can stand the fact of waking uo beside him for the rest of my life

At least a 3 years would be an ideal one for me I believe. "Courtship period" does depends on a person's age too. If I'm already 30 years of age, then I would probably cut down on the period.. so, yep.
And well, living together first before marriage.. I'm 50-50 as long as there is no sex involved and we both clearly knows that.
The main point is, I'd have discussed everything with my boy before we decided to take a certain step forward.  | |

at least 1 year to know someone well enough bah too short cant even understand just go in dangerous
to fall in love is always easy
to start a relationship is always simple
to build it, is always tough
to maintain it, is 'better said than done'
to break off, is 'easier said than done'
to remain friends after u broke off, is never possible
to forget the memories is 'always doing but never succeeding'
to heal the pain within is hard and tough and never near simple
but one has to try to heal your own heart...

at least 3 years. ideal 3-4 years, cannot hop on too fast, the main idea about marriage is after a looooooong looooong time, the person still haf e charm to make you hold on and smile every morning.
hahas. until old i also want to be happy, so courtship cannot too short, cant rush, cannot too long, because never move on =s SG FTW! | |

ideally atleast 2-3 years for me. Now im goin to have my current relationship for 3rd anniversary, we decided to get married since our 1st anniversary already lor.
