Being possibly the most trivial question of all time, this is one hard question to ask.

Love is not a bond, or a relationship, but more of a heart to heart conversation. When the conversation grows, the bond and relationship forms. Therefore, love creates the bond and relationship.

Still, that leaves us with the main question, what is love?

Love is no ordinary thing. It is not voluntary, but when it begins, you will know.

There are three types of love. Infatuation, love of family, and love of your spouse.

Infatuation, most commonly known as "Puppy Love", is basically love at first sight.
Infatuation can be the beginning of a future spouse love. Though most often infatuation doesn't amount to much.

Love of family is loving your mother and father, and any siblings you may have. You want to protect them, watch over them, and fill their lives with an unbounding joy. The parents have an innermost feeling for their children, which in my case, they express everyday.

Love of your spouse means loving someone you are married to. Whether husband or wife, you support your spouse with a deep modesty, and you treat them with great respect.

Okay, so I told you the three types of love. But I still haven't told you what love is. I told you a definition, a heart to heart conversation, but does that tell you much? No. So, I will put it straight.

Love means to care, to protect, to watch over, to pray for, to make sure the loved person is happy. But to tell you the truth, those are all parts of love. Not love itself.

So, I will tell you what I think of love. Love has a meaning, but we will never know. Many philosophers have tried, but all their attempts have failed. Every single one of them!

Love is actually never the same thing.
Your destiny, your future path, what you choose to do, that all determines what love is. Love is never the same, you make up the meaning of love by how you choose to use it.

put at the right temperature, it'll last for long.

Infatuation from my personal point of view is the most common misunderstood feeling of "love" and that often leads to lots of unnecessary heartaches.

love like a milk... not bad leh.. Love is somethin tat makes us think stronger and grow up lor although sometime or maybe can say most of the time it backfires but, it help us to understand more wat to do and wat to choose in our life lah.. love is mostly begin with frens or a cupid jus poke ur butt with a arrow with a gal lah or shld say friendship caught with fire.. if u wanna noe more abt love, 1st is u mus not expect much abt love, don think love wil do anythin for u, is wat u and ur partner do things for love.. 2nd, u MAY or WILL meet failures in r/s, face it, admit it, overcome it and forget it, u wil grow more mature but if u find someone u really love then don forget it, jus do the 1st 3 then continue again..! 3rd is u and ur partner noe wat is the meanin of "learn how to bend it than to break it".. M i wrong sayin it like tis..?

When a person fall in love, it is pretty close to insanity. I am referring to all-consuming, heart-pounding, wide-eyed stuff a person experienced during those first days of a new love—being madly in love—the substance of romantic poetry.

A feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person.

Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings.

When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared she won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only does she still love you, she loves you even more.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevere.

Love never fails.

Love is just a kind of powerful feeling! Cant be measure by money,status,race,religion,age ,even sex and anything else.Anything that interere into love matter is not true love!

Seriously, the definition of love can be anything or everything. It really depends on who it is and how it would apply to that situation. It may be this for him, but it may not be the same for another. The way you are brought up, the environment you grew up in, the teachings you had, would all determine the way you look at love.

I feel that love is something so amazing and special. It may seems cold on the outside, but deep down it is burning with an everlasting flame. Love is something so unique, that you are willing to brave through all storms and dangers for the love you held deep to your heart. Would it be unrequited love? I believe there's definitely a certain degree of truth to it.

A student asks a teacher, "What is love?"
The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."
The student went to the field, go thru first row, he saw one big padi, but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.
Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is a even bigger one waiting for him.
Later, when he finished more than half of the padi field, he start to realize that the padi is not as big as the previous one he saw, he know he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted !!!!
So, he ended up went back to the teacher with empty hand.

The teacher told him, "this is love. you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realize, you have already miss the person.

""What is marriage then?" the student asked.
The teacher said, "in order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back.
But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.
"The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfy, and come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn. you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get, this is marriage."
