Just got back on the dating scene after breaking off a long distance engagement of 4 years. Also just moved to Singapore from US 3 years ago working in a professional firm.
Finding the dating scene "different" after my long hiatus. Not having a social network here contributes too I guess to the lack of leads for anyone worth dating. Not meaning to to offend anyone in Singapore or reading this.. I find that those in the dating pool tends to be those picked and left unwanted for one reason or another while those still worth dating are disillusioned by their prior relationship and tend to put up their defences against me given my outgoing nature.
I am not really a party animal but can get carried away by the champagne and whiskey sometime
I do enjoy the finer things in life and miss having someone to share and pamper. It's nice to have someone to share things with .
I truly belive the old saying - behind each successful man is a woman.
I guess having a working relationship helps a guy keep its focus on their career. 3 things are important to most guy. 1) Career 2) Relationship 3) Finances. Hard to focus.
Oh well.. just a series of random thoughts at 2am. Have a deadline tuesday i have to hammer. Maybe I should start a blog rather than posting here.
