i am assuming you're departing from manila, philippines, and going for a round-trip ticket.
if so, you can opt for either cebu pacific or singapore airlines. both prices ranging in the $600+ region including tax. cebu pacific is about S$620, and SQ is about S$650.
for budget airlines, you can go for tiger airways. the ticket is about close to S$500 including tax. forget about jetstar.. it's more expensive. You will need to be more specific as to which part of the Philippines you will be flying out from.

but i read from the news that their planes got stranded in aus twice in A WEEK?
