hihi, i get some problem with my nintendo ds lite and i would like to find out from anyone out there. i bought my ds lite about 6months ago and recently i cannot play the downloaded games from online. is there anything like i have to upgrade my version or etc. can anyone help me. almost all the new games cannot be played. pls anyone help.

what cart are you using? Exactly what is your problem? Only games cannot be played? can you still run multimedia off of moonshell?

I wanna get one NDS..
Do you heard of edge card for NDSL?
I heard this at bugis street whereby they sell the console set at $239
and a package set at $300. with pouch, charger and ....... (forgotten)

Is it reasonable??
Den as quoted frm them tt edge card is better than R4? is it true?

Is there any place to get a good deal for NDS wif inclusive of package such as, R4 cart or edge cart or wad??

try the "Games and Console Marketplace" sub-forum here. There are several sellers doing packages. My personal preference is chin though, cz his package has more options to look at...

There are already threads comparing the various flash carts. please look around and you'll find them...for even more info try gbatemp.net

Lastly, if you can find Edge at a good price, then good for you. Cz globally, edge card has been seeing a slight over-inflation in price...

hmm.. looks like the hyped up price of edge the last few months is gone. now only 4 USD more expensive than a DSTT. so for the cart alone, probably around $45 sgd bah. but seldom see edge around in sg, so this price is not definitive.

thanks for your reply, my ds is using R4 Card. i only use my ds to play games so didn't try the media. is there anything like the version is out dated or have to updated the software.

Problem usually lies with either 1) Firmware, 2) MicroSD or 3) Flashcart.

1) and 2) can be easily checked. Put your microSD into your PC, backup all *game* files on your microSD and format. After which download latest R4 firmware and put the firmware and games all back onto the microSD. If you can perform these operations without the PC reporting an error, your microSD should be no problem. To double-confirm the fault does not lie with your microSD, you can insert it into other flash carts and try if possible. These should solve your problem if the fault lies with either your firmware or the microSD.

If after performing the steps above, things still cannot work. problem lies with the flash cart. get back to whoever you bought it from and try to get it either fixed or replaced.

BTW, when you say you "cannot play new games" are u saying you can't play 1) ANY games at all or 2) just games that have been recently released or 3) you can play your old games but those games that you just downloaded cannot be played?
