wat if ur gf/ bf is overseas studying n mayb for a period lk 2 to 3yrs.. will u wait for them?? or will u move on n find another new relationship?? :handsup:

I will not even start something lidat in the first place.

it really depends on how deep the love is, how much you love yourself, and your thinking.

For me, i'll just let it go if i dont have confidence.

It not easy to maintain this kind of r/s. LDR is not the same as normal r/s .. when you are down or when you need ur partner to be beside you, it kinda impossible .. normal r/s .. whenever you need that person.. he/she will be beside you anytime... it impossible, so you have to learn to be independent and most of all .. trust is the most impt. I was in LDR before.. so sometimes we onli get to see each other few mths and then after that when I got back to singapore, we can onli keep in touch through msn.. phone .. etc. .. But we manage to overcome this .. we got married last year. But now I m alone in singapore again.. cause he jus went back to his country this morning.. but.. I will be joining him soon.
So it reali up to individual what he/she wan..Be prepare to put in alot of effort into it.

I encounter this problem b4 as my ex went overseas to work cum study for 3 years and when he told me the news i think for a long time and decide to let go as no confidence to maintain it. Cos we won't know what the other party doing and only can communicate in msn or phone calls. But i never regret choosing to let go cos now we still are friends and even closer unlike last time always quarrel.

so it takes double or even triple of the effort to make it happen

E.g.

u dare to tell ur friends u hav a galfren studyin at oversea for years..? some frens may give u a real bash on ur confidence if u say somethin like tat, can u take it..? if u hav money, then it's time for u to change enviroment, buy airticket go with her liao.. but if u choose to stay in a r/s with a 'overseas' in between, it's goin to be expensive and u mus extremely prepare for it..

hmm i will keep quiet lor. then when he is away, we both do whatever we want (go out with someone else etc etc) but i will hope we still keep in touch. when he comes back then decide to continue or not...

It will not be easy to mainten a long distance relationship. It also depends on how deep is your love for each other.

Usually when aboard and being lonely and being in a new enviroment, chances of a change of heart is high.

Treat it as a test for your love for each other.

Ermm.. dont said until so bad. You going to scare those who are on LDR now. It not easy to maintain doest mean cannot be done. Know wat each other want on this r/s and tried to hold on it. And this can be a test to each other also. There are alot of successful LDR around.. so have confident on it

ya i agree realli hafta put in alot of effort.. its realli not ez.. feeling kinda lonely aft my gf left for 2mths. when need someone no one is there for me.. n she wont b coming back for yrs.. haiz.. :cry3:

y wldnt i dare to tell my frenz my gf is overseas?? all my frenz noe wat.. dey didnt say anything bad la.. well mayb diff kinda ppl u mix with ba.. :handsup: hahha y u say till lk wanna go with her can juz go lk tt ah.. not so ez la.. go visit for wks can la.. cant stay there with her for yrs wat.. got alot of burden in s'pore.. but thks for ur advice anyway.. :biggrin4:

is there realli alot of successful LDR??? me n my gf hear too many failed one tts y we abit unsure of wat e future might b.. but den we r still managing well thou.. :biggrin4: hope can maintain tis way la..
