I'm thinking of getting a shih tzu or a maltese but I heard it's hard to tame their furs. Have to bring them often for grooming. I prefer a dog that is active, not much fur. Love is blind and Friendship is clairvoyant. | |

But seriously consider the option of rearing a dog or any pet.
Try asking yourself, how much time can you actually afford.
Is it just a urge?
Try to plan far ahead.

Jack russell is too naughty. I have the time and any other things that are necessary that's why I'm planning to have a dog as a companionship. Love is blind and Friendship is clairvoyant. | |

have u look thr the photos of the various breed of dogs? maybe u can shortlist a few types solely based on looks, then do some research on their characteristics lor..
JRTs seem to be what u are looking for.. short fur, and they are FREAKING active.. hahaha..! i have 2 JRTs at home.. love them loads! ^^
but aiya, just saw ur reply.. hmm.. actually all dogs can be naughty, not just JRTs.. it really depends on how u train them lor.. my JRTs are pretty obedient.. but only to selected ppl.. lolx! be simplified at

my friend used to own a JRT. and I'm afraid of this kind of dog, cos I used to have a chick and I brought it to my fren's house one day. Her JRT bit my chick! And that poor chick died in his mouth  Love is blind and Friendship is clairvoyant. | |

My cousin says Miniature Schnauzer is good cos it's always alert and is good to guard the house and easily tame. I was thinking of taking this or Chihuahua cos of the size. I can easily carry a chihuahua around with me. Love is blind and Friendship is clairvoyant. | |
