i assume by asking this u are a buddhist
being a buddhist dont need to have so much restrictions on such things one....let me quote u one example...if you are on alms begging and the pple offer u meat cos they only have meat,do u reject?nope u dont cos by rejecting u are rejecting their kindness and this is not buddha's teaching....gp read up on the buddha's sermons and u will know...imagine ugo to a fishing village to beg for alms and they only got seafood to offer u ,are u goning to starve yourself?no,buddha dont want his followers to starve themselves or do anything to harm their body cos thats not the right way to nibbana hence why he left the lersi and seek his own way...
but than diff cycles of buddhism has got their own "house rules" and this is wat i hate about it cos our "boss' is siddatha no matter wat cycle u are from
anyways dun side track liaos...go back to it....i am nto sure if they use such ingrdients or not....for me i dont care as long as i dont eat the 5 types of forbidden meat namely, humans, dogs, cat, turtles, monkey
vegetarian wise i dun take citrus food seeds (esp lime cos sometimes u squeeze the lime u accidentally eat the seeds)
