I would change because I foresee USD 1 = SGD 1.

There's still no turning factor that can bring the dollar around yet. Probably around 2010, will the dollar move on a recovery stage.

It's unlikely to happen because when it happens, our exports to USA will go down because it will be too expensive to buy from us and many other countries in the world. The world will be in shit if that happens, that is why china government refuse to let Chinese yuan appreciate, they are afraid exports will be down.

actually the dollar dropping is something to celebrate...with george bush too messing up the economy...lol...when he gets replaced sure the dollar will start to recover...as for now, try find investments in the US...this should be the period where people rush to grab onto investments there like land banking and stuff...

Totally agree.. It will hurt singapore economy for sure, if dollars fall to 1:1 ratio. You may find it cheaper to buy stuff from US but it is going to hurt the companies in Singapore... Cause a lot of them rely on exporting. The market in Singapore is too small to support the whole country.
