1) After downloading the file, extract it using WinRar. if you do not have WinRar, you can download it here.
2) connect your psp to your pc via usb connection.
3) you will see a folder called "UPDATE". just transfer this file into the memory stick "ms0:/PSP/GAME/", which is the GAME folder in your PSP folder.
4) Disconnect the USB, and go to your games in XMB.
5) you will see the update icon "M33-2". run it like you would an ISO backup.
6) press right on your D-pad, and choose "Accept".
7) press right on your D-pad, and press X to start the update.
Yes, it is that easy! call me at 96446546 or MSN me if you're still not sure.
Cheers! | | | | | do i delete the UPDATE folder from the psp when im done updating? |

you dont have to delete files or do anything to your games files and other files.
just download to firmware you want and start upgrading but you need to have a customs firmware PSP to do this. if not, meet me and i can help you upgrade to the latest firmware
but need to pay me $5 (:

But the only thing you need to take note is make sure you fully charge your psp battery first before upgrading your PSP Slim.
There is no need to check the memory space to upgrade. just that make sure there is a space for the installer can fit in.. (download the 3.90m33-3 installer from here [enter the PSP banner]) need help, PM me or MSN

Total SGC$: 21.50 | Re: Upgrade yourself from any custom firmware CFW 3.95 GEN's PSP Slim version is approximately 99 percent complete, As for the bad news, which will cover the firmware's release for the PSP Fat. The developers have announced that if users attempt run the CFW on the Fat while running a UMD or ISO, all its other functions won't work. As a result, plugins and apps such as VSHMenu and popsloader will freeze up. |
