hi takashi! what game were you trying to run? if it's a new release, it might be because your current firmware cannot support the game, and as such will not be able to start. firstly, check that your UMD ISO mode is set to either M33 driver or Sony NP9660 driver. anything, call/sms me at 81528607.

Cheers!

All the files have a readme, but just like th eprevious time u upgraded, follow the same steps. only diff is after u finish each step, delete the file(s) from the memory stick, then proceed with the next step.

this might be caused by a previous downgrader which might have messed up your idstorage. gimme a buzz n i'll take a look at it for u, or google KeyCleaner.

Cheers!

I found out what is the problem last night. You need to set your firmware to M33 and not 1.50 Kernel at the recovery page. Hope you know what I meant. After doing that, I have no problem upgrading it anymore

First, turn off the PSP by holding the power on/hold sliding button up for 10-15 seconds, then switch it on while holding down the R button to access recovery page.

for upgrading from 3.71 M33 to 3.90 M33-3, download the file here. ensure that your battery is more than 80% before running the update, and do not disturb the set during the update process, or u might potentially brick it.

set firmware to M33? 1.50 kernel setting in the recovery menu would be to set which default folder would be used to run homebrew... if as u mentioned M33, that might be the UMD ISO mode... weren't u oredi running No-UMD ISO mode? no reason for ur homebrew folder to have been changed to 1.50 as default would be same as ur current firmware version. oh well, might have accidentally messed ard wif it i guess... at least the problem is now solved.

Cheers!

to upgrade, download the 3.90 M33-3 file here. copy the "UPDATE" folder to your memory stick "ms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/" ensure your psp is charged to minimum 80% (preferably full), and run the update through your XMB. just follow the on screen instructions to update to 3.90 M33-3.

Cheers!
