Do a search n cannot find any thread on it, so I start one...

The 3 Lions performance was great.
The players repaid the faith of the manager - Steve McClaren.
Next Wednesday match against Russia will be more difficult.

Any competition is not complete without England...

when more people say that they r not good or wat, they will perform well..but when people start to praise them then they flop..so i predict after this 3-0 win on sat, they will flop against russia..maybe a draw is on the line..

England cannot afford to draw anymore games.
they will have to win all their remaining games, in order to have any chance of qualifying.
If McClaren selects the same starting 11, they have a good chance.
but if he tinker with the line-up and try to include those injury star players who have recover in the next match, then it is doom for failure...

another excellent performance and win by England.
England 3-0 Russia, with Owen scoring a double, a rare goal by Ferninard but a good one.
40 goals now for Owen, 9 more to equal Sir Charlton's 49 goals.

France 0-1 Scotland, what a result
Slovakia 2-5 Wales, another great result.

heng ah ITALY win..but scotland manage to upset France..quite incredible..France from 1st become 3rd..now crucial match will be scotland vs italy le...

Always see those major european soccer nations on tv..hope one or two wont qualify as some of them are simply too complacent.Hope to see other euro nations qualify.=)

Is there any one who thinks Greece can defends their title?

They played a perfect tournament in 04, others simply can't break them dwn, if they maintain this type of standard maybe lighting strike twice?

i dun think they can defend their title. However, there might be an element of surprise( I hope so). Anyway, will be rooting for england and portugal for the upcoming Euro 2008. =)

Greece will not be able to defend their title....
