I was quite surprised that Liverpool lost 0-1 at home to Marseille who I think is in the lower region of the French League.

Anfield is supposed to be a fortress and home gorund advantage is a big factor especially in CL games.

Quality-wise they are too strong for Rangers, if first 20 mins doesn't let in goals, the home factor won't affect them already, should be able to go on and win e game.

Hope Kiev can upset the Devils.

Home ground advanstage is very important factor to consider.

Both Rangers and Barcelona have won their first 2 CL matches and a win for either of them would more or less assured qualifications for the next stage.

Rangers has just beaten their arch rivals Celtic 3-0 in the Scottish League and their morale would be sky high. As for Barcelona, they lost their unbeaten record at Villarreal and were beaten 3-1. Their morale would be low. Plus the fact that their playmaker Deco is injured and won't be availble for this game, I think Rangers might just cause an upset.

Man Utd face a tricky trip to Ukraine to face Dynamo Kiev. Where the temperature is expected to be 8-9 C. Although Dynamo Kiev is not a force like it used to be and had lost their last 2 CL games, they had put in a decent run in their league recently. It won't be a walkover for Man Utd.

CSKA Moscow will host face current Italian Serie "A" leaders Inter Milan. This will also be a tricky match for Inter due to the low temperature in Moscow now. Temperature is expected to be 6-7 C with overcast sky.

Arsenal should overcome their -1.5 handicap over Slavia Prague.

Stuttgart should register a win over Lyon. Lyon's form in the CL is not good. They are not as formiable as last couple of seasons.

Roma, Sevilla and PSV should also overcome Sporting Lisbon, Steaua and Fenerbahce without much problems.

CSKA Moscow's errors cost them dearly. Defensive lapse resulted in Inter's equaliser and a blunder by their keeper cost them the game and the points! :disgust2:

Yeah, hostile atmosphere isn't a problem for the experience Reds. Anywhere in Europe can be turn into Kop for 90 mins.
