I didn't get to watch the match, but I read the reports this morning. It's enough to convince me of a terrible performance by the Reds. But yea, I agree it's a good result considering this is probably the toughest match we have in the group stage, so let's hope that we can build on it. Come Moscow! We'll be there!

after a poor 1st day by the teams from UK ---> 2 Draws n 1 Lost
the 2nd day is a solid performance by them ---> 3 Wins out of 3
with Rangers got to a winning start...

Well Done !!! :biggrin4:

It seems that Arsenal's youth has benefit with the departure of Thierry Henry....They have improved and don't get "bullied" by physical teams anymore.

Hope they will continue to strive and improve.

Sevilla looks out of sort against Arsenal and conceded 3 goals. Arsenal should qualify from the group with ease unless there is a sudden loss of form.

Utd still havent score more than 2 goals in a single game this season, i think they will need to do that against Roma cause w/o v.d.Sar, high chance of Utd conceding...

Liverpool vs Marseille - The Reds should do well against the terribly poor Marseille who recently lost their coach.

Manchester_U vs Roma - Current form suggest a close fight between 2 European giants. Roma should have learnt their mistakes from last season well to do well at the Old Trafford.

Lyon vs Rangers - Scottish side Rangers struggled to win their last home game and faces an uphill task to hold off resurgent Lyon. Home win.

Sevilla vs Slavia Prague - Sparta do not have the strong defensive resolve to hold off Sevilla.

Cheers,
Vinson

Lyon not the same anymore leh, at home can concede 3 against a lowly opponent.

Inter lucky to score twice before reduce to 9 men.

Quite a number of away wins, hope today results can see more home power..
