As a skipper i don't think it is wrong to protect his team mates, if he deserves a red card, then at elast 3 Feyenoord players should be shown e red too. Gerrard as captain should not have done what he done ! he punch someone in the face and yet not send off (ref didn't saw it i think or Let him off)
hopefully ACTION will be taken against Gerrard (A Fine since this is not a competitive match so can't ban him i guess)
