knock off at 6pm, usually left office at ard 610-615pm unless I have something on on dat day.
The strange thing is people will always remember u left the office at 6pm sharp but on days when u work til 7pm or even 10pm, nobody remembers.
Once I was late for only 5mins, pp complain to my boss, claiming that they waited very long for me to open the door. However, when I come to work as early as 810am, nobody tells my boss. This is one thing I learnt: work according to what my contract states. If my working hours is from 830am to 6pm, then I work accordingly and make sure my work is submitted on time and dun laze ard. Cos nobody will appreciate if u come early or work late.
My boss always say he works til 9pm everyday and expects us to do the same. However, he comes in only aft 2pm. And who knows he really speaks the truth, cos everybody left the office at 6pm.

I normally reach office around 8.35am, leave around 6.10 - 6.20pm like that lor. I find it hard to leave on the dot leh, unless I got something urgent on.

6 on the dot leave the office.

when i was in retail, 11 work, 1030 come,
930 end, 10 close shop. [coz by hour payment + commission]


if 9 start i come at 905
i will leave at 605.

life's usually like tat. not much ppl take note of all the good things u do but any bad thing, its gonna spread fast. my intern teacher used to tell me this yrs ago haha
but for me i usually come early but do nothing then start on time and leave either on the dot or after i completed my work. ideal work sense ^^

(fyi do u know ppl in germany start and stop work ON THE DOT!! and i mean excatly on the dot no one works past 6 in the office lol << my german teacher told me this haha)

haha.. i work in f&b line.. when started out as apprentice.. i'll work many many free labour OT! haha.. timing start from 12-6pm.. but will start from 9 and end at 10.. cuz i need to learn things as much as possible just to improve myself.. but now i'm already on the ball liao le.. so i'll just start 1 hour earlier for preparation and knock off 1 hour later to sharpen my knife.. lolz..

I will always try to stay 5 or 10 mins later.. dowan ppl to say i clockwatch!! unless i have something on, then i will leave on the dot.. i have no OT pay so i am not expected to stay late everyday.. i just feel paiseh to leave earlier than ppl hahaha

haha. being punctual is fair for urself and the company and of cuz u have a clean record.

i dun like to owe company or make the company owe me hours etc.

Knock off at 6pm. However, I usually clear my stuff till close to 7pm. I try not to stay too late because my office is famous for lots of 'good friends' around.

I know of many people who stay behind few mins to surf the net and wayang a bit.. Or go Pantry.. walk around then go back.. Or send emails to maybe supervisors after working hours then shut down pc and go home.lol..
