He ends up losing koi and lawsuit against farmer
WHAT is NT$2,000 ($92) to a billionaire?

Plenty, it seems.
At least to Taiwanese billionaire and business magnate Liao Wei Zhi, owner of Breeze Centre, an upmarket shopping mall in Taipei.
He refused to pay NT$2,000 to his elderly neighbour, and the dispute eventually landed both in court, reported Apple Daily Taiwan.
Mr Liao, 58, recently sued his neighbour, a farmer in the Shuang Xi township just outside Taipei, for cutting one of the two pipes supplying spring water to Mr Liao's home.
Mr Liao claims that the act of mischief had caused two of his prized collection of koi fish to die.
However, the case was thrown out by the Taiwanese court on Tuesday.
The court heard that Mr Li has been paying his farmer neighbour Qiu Jun Yan NT$10,000 annually for the past 18 years for supply of spring water to his home's garden and fish pond.
Five years ago, Mr Qiu, 66, tried to increase the annual fee by NT$2,000 because of rising costs, but Mr Liao objected.
Last year, Mr Qiu tried again, but Mr Liao flatly refused to pay.
In frustration, Mr Qiu then cut supply from one of the two pipes carrying spring water to Mr Liao's house last August.
Mr Liao claimed that this killed two of his koi fish.
The tycoon also alleged that when he signed the contract with Mr Qiu years ago, it was agreed that Mr Liao could have permanent access to the spring water.
However, the court found that while the contract granted the spring water access to Mr Liao indefinitely, it did not specify payment terms.
The prosecution also pointed out that MrLiao's water supply was not entirely cut off, and disputed the claim that Mr Qiu's action indirectly caused the death of the koi.
CHARGES DROPPED
The charges against Mr Qiu were then dropped.
Apple Daily Taiwan reported that Mr Liao was upset over his pets' death as he has reared the fish for 10 years.
Koi fish are also traditionally known to be symbols of good fortune.
Mr Liao apparently used spring water even though he had a piped water supply because he thought it was a waste of money to use potable water for his garden and pond.
Mr Liao, who started out in the hardware and timber industry, built up his business empire by branching out into real estate and finance industries.
He is known to be a shrewd businessman.
