I have a friend who's cousin went on a holiday to BKK with her bf. Outside the hotel, they got into a hotel but the taxi driver asked the guy to get some sort of paper from the hotel reception. So the guy went to the hotel lobby while the girl waited in the taxi for the bf to come back. But when the bf came back, the taxi was gone and he couldn't find any trace of the gf. It's already been 10 plus years and she still hasn't returned or contacted anyone. Suspect that she has been murdered/raped or used for begging by triads or wtv.. Please be careful. Indra Regent is ok.
Another VERY GOOD one is Grand Diamond Suites Hotel.JUST NEXT TO PLATINUM FASHION MALL AND OPPOSITE PRATUNAM...the room comes with a living room, bedroom and a KITCHEN(witout pan/utensils)...it's great..
unsure abt the prices but both are really good other than Baiyoke(in the middle of Pratunam wholesale center) and Pathumwan Princess(next to MBK).
went to Bangkok for three/four times this year le...
just my recommendations...(: |

Paisay, but for safety, you might wanna ask your mom to get into the cab first before you and your kid follow suit. |
