Total SGC$: 65.00 | well, like everyone says, living in Singapore is hectic. the standard of living in Singapore is also high. in Singapore, no certificate means no job. everyone has high expectations. even your neighbours will ask how am i doin with my studies and what do i want to do when i grow up.
although Singapore is small, it is quite fun to be in. say orchard road? and maybe you can scream your lungs out at Escape or stay overnight at chalet? my friends and i will go out quite often and the places we always visit dont bore us. hee.
i have no sig. =P

Total SGC$: 1,851.19 | It really depends on how you define 'tough'... Having to starve and live off scraps in Ethopia is tough. Having to survive in a dog-eat-dog world is also tough. Students will feel that having exams are tough. Parents will think that raising kids is tough.
I'm not making sense. :runnynose:
I think life in SG isn't really considered tough. Most of us have to slog out most of our lifetimes, but we have shelter, we are living in a disaster-free zone, we have support from people around us even when there're problems, we're mostly educated and if not, at least literate. Stress levels are high, but there're ways to conquer that. Some people take off-days for a short getaway, or go spa, or exercise it out, or listen to soothing music, etc.
So generally, it's difficult living in SG but I wouldn't consider it tough. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. As long you worked hard, you can survive! |

Total SGC$: 316.60 | i agree is how u define the word 'tough'... it really depends on how you see life.. I believe everywhere u live there are deemed to be problems, stress and other things.. the only place ur dun have problem is when u r lying in ur coffin...
if u see problem as a challenge rather than problem itself.. then i think anywhere u go.. nothing will be tough. so start to see things from another perspective.. then slowly the word 'tough' will not be in ur dictionary

the pace is too fast in sg. when i went to thailand for holiday, can feel very different... very relax, no pressure.
eg. in sg, u have to quickly rush through your lunch. 10mins to eat. but in thailand, eat 1 hour u also wont feel like u need to rush.
