Default Torn Blisters

Im very prone to have blisters on my inner side of the thumb. usually it will ended up getting torn

I was once told it was due to my release.

so i tried using latex tape on it and still my thumb will get busted

i was thinking maybe the latex is too thin? cos it is realli very thin hahah..

and other types of protection tape tat is good?

anyone else share the same tragedy as me?

Is your thumb hole could be too big. which causes you to squeeze harder than you should to make it feel secure. Maybe you just need to put in some tape.

i used to use skin patch too.... it's like a very soft type of gauze which you put across the affected area (about the size of your last finger nail), then apply a type of alcohol over it to secure. it dries off very quickly with the ball return air-blower, and it's extremely secured.

now, i dun use the patch anymore... just apply the alcohol nia.... hehehee.... i'm not really into latex tapes.

I recommend you to get your ball check for the above possibilities and fixing the problem than depending on the skin patches.

not forgetting that the pro-shop person whom you're approaching is someone ethical enough to throw away his business sense for a while and concentrate on helping you solve the problem.

not all pro-shop operators are kind enough to be a counselor and advisor. business is still on top of their mind. my advice is to get a familiar driller whom you're comfortable with.

If your driller cannot solve your problem, why not try xxxxxx
He might be able to help you.

Note to all bowlers,
pls do refrain from mentioning names and pro shops here as we do not wish to see anybody starting any finger pointing flaming sessions as well as non promotion of any pro shops that are not affliated to us in terms of official discounts and such for teambob.sg

hence why u see some of the posts have been edited.

thank you
