never be lazy.

that's like the most important thing . most students just want the good grades without working hard for it, that's just fcked up spoilt brat attitude larr.

just read your facts over and over again...

Most importantly, you must have interest in it... fall in love with it

aah, i see i see. actually i'm guilty of that too but even laziness has a limit no? i can't possibly sit on my bum the whole day. you just gotta decide if you really wanna do well, determination and motivation goes a long way.

this is what i used to do, take my math TYS while i watch tv. i only do the questions when the commercials are on. and since i watch a lot of tv, i finished my TYS in about 2 weeks. did corrections and everything as well, then moved on to another TYS. for math there's no other way cause practice does make it perfect. so might as well practice on your own terms right?

agrees with n_height. "Everyone wants to go to heaven, but noone wants to die"

It's all about consistant work. Do the right things at the right time.

- When it's lesson time, focus!
- When it's after school, dedicate half the time to do H/W and the other half to play/sgclub.com

My personal theory is Understand>Memorise>Practice>Revise

i read something in a book that goes something like this,

"Have you ever experienced a time when u had to study a chapter & felt very sleepy & lazy? But the moment you started playing ur fav computer game[or computer],u felt the surge of energy come back & you would find yourself playing for hours without feeling lazy at all?
Then, the minute u went back to your books,u would start to yawn & feel sleepy again?
--skipping a non-important sentence--
Well, when we are playing computer game,we have a very clear goal which is to win!
That gives us the energy & motivation to play on.The trouble is that when we study, most of us don't have a clear goal of scoring 'A's,so our mind shuts down & saps our energy!"

So what this author is trying to say is that the minute u set exciting goals for urself in ur studies,u'll find that u will have e energy that will drive u & overcome laziness...i hope it helps..:biggrin4:

hotlandpaperheart a.k.a nurrbmn
