Do you think Singapore u-23 footballers standard dropping ?

For me, yeah. ive been watching every Sea Games on football for Singapore games... look like Singapore u-23 standard is dropping since the Vietnam Sea Game, they played very well... but now you see, sg vs laos end up in a draw... in their previous game sg at least get more then 2 goals agains laos... like tis how to vs mlysia? or even Vietnam? next... WHAT I HATE ABT SG FOOTBALLERS, WHY WANT TO STEP FIERCE & END UP WITH FIGHTS WHEN NOT HAPPY WITH REFEERE DECISION? WHY NOT JUST COOL DOWN!? AT LEAST, DONT END UP INTO FIGHT! i hope that sg-u23 & even national team pll learn from their mistakes...

Personally i dun think well of the singapore U23 Team. Their usual standard of play is not there and they are not confident on the ball.

maybe we still a long time before we can reach the desired standards!!!!

singapore u 23 standard droping so wat? juz focus on the senior squad can le.. the senior squad isnt veri old. anyway we also cant expect much frm the u 23 ma.. as long some u23 players promoted to the senior squad can le..and our senior squad got foreign talent too..so juz let the under 23 play their part lor..

The team have been in the S league for the one season still standard did not improved , i feel bronze medal at the best for this current U23 team.
bad result for laos 0-0 & lucky own goals with vietnam win 3-2. Sat match with malaysia ???

Shahril Ishak, Agu Casmir, Khairul Amri and Fazrul Nawaz got to play to their best if we are to go as far as possible in the tournament, they are the better players in the current squad who are regulars at the senior squad as well. A draw on sat will take us thru but a win will be better since we can avoid the hosts and hopefully set up a repeat of the Tiger Cup final with the Thais again.

They way they played against Laos, it would be very difficult for them to go far. They need two comical own goals to beat Vietnam. Without these 2 own goals, they will probably be flying home sooner.

Before their game against Vietnam, there was a rumour going around that SG will score 3 goals as the match was fixed. From the looks of the 2 own goals, I am not surprised at all if the match was fixed. Vietnam did well in the recent Asia Cup and they should not have scored those 2 own goals. These mistakes are made by amateurs and not professionals!

Vietnam also U23 squad mah, the Asia cup is their senior squad, different quality.

True! But some of this U23 squad also play for them in the Asia Cup leh.

if we were to play wif thailand at the semis, we will lose... i hope we beat malaysia to avoid thailand in the semis..

If SG don't get at least a draw, they will be out. As for Malaysia, they have to go for a win as Vietnam is expected to beat Laos.

If SG get a draw and Vietnam wins against Lao, we will be runner up in the group and will meet most likely Thailand in the semi-finals. Therefore, if SG wants to avoid Thailand until the final, we will have to go for nothing less than a win against Malaysia.

Malaysia goes into the match knowing that nothing less than a victory over SG will see them out of the tournament.

They will go all the way to beat SG. It will be a tough test for our young cubs.
