Be glad that you even have bus services here.
Anyway just want to give a fresh point of view, have you guys ever wonder, what if, again what if, bus companies already tried to do their best for their services, and is still improving it?
Hrmmm... maybe someday you kids will understand. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Don't be surprised if there're 30 buses deployed on a service!
There're around 38 to 45 buses deployed on service 74 and most of them are double decks, out of these double decks, some are non-aircon too!
SBS1943Z, 1959D & 1965K will do Fast Foward 74e during the scheduled time.
Service 147 has a total of around 40 buses in the fleet, most of them are double decks too!
Both services are controlled by Bukit Batok (BBDEP) & Hougang Depot (HGDEP)

u all noe the svc 100 rite.. the wheel chair accessible one.. the pic tt is on the first page.. it is rilly a waste of space in the bus.. half of the bus is without seats cos they hav to make space for 2 wheel chairs.. i think there are onli less than 30 seats on the buses.. and most imptly i take bus 100 so many times i hav not see a single wheelchair comin up -.-
so.. conclusion.. waste of space.. |

not really. SBST has room for improvement.
in aust, the similar bus, they had foldable seats at the wheelchair area.
SG doesnt.
but if you're a person-in-wheelchair,
will you pay for bus ride (max $2+), MRT ride (max $3+) or Taxi ride ($10+, not inclusive of ERP charges and extras)
if you dont know, some the bus services has buses with wheelchair facilities, just that, they havent decide whether this route should change into a Wheelchair Accessible service or not. it lies with SBS Transit's decision.
and, in a few years time, SG Buses will be Low-floor & Wheelchair Accessible.
thats Govt's decision too, to improve SG's first class transport. To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Direct Polytechnic Admission'08: Republic Polytechnic - Sports & Exercise Science! Singapore Red Cross Society

As a Bus Enthusiast, I'm surprised you're taking the arrangements for one well-serviced bus service, and assuming it's the same for all...
FYI. I just used the Iris service this morning on Service 3, after waiting for 15 mins in the rain...
Next Bus: 12 Mins
Subsequent Bus: 28 Mins
Made my blood boil, i took a cab to the interchange after that...

the bus frequency is like ... S*it.
i think its better to feedback the problem,
meanwhile, for those taking service 3 regularly,
perhaps you can take a bus earlier... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Direct Polytechnic Admission'08: Republic Polytechnic - Sports & Exercise Science! Singapore Red Cross Society
