A tendency to get something once you enter a sale?

Say you waited an entire year for that one exclusive sale. Especially now that it is the Great Singapore Sale season, sales are abound.

So my question is, do you guys have a tendency to just grab something despite the fact that nothing catches your fancy just to make your trip worth it and so as to convince yourself that you have benefited from the sale and not wasted it?

I guess many of us have that mentality, which is why sometimes we ended up with things we don't really want. It's just somethings you desperately grab to console yourself. You know, that at least you did not come out empty handed and you have spent some money. Buying for the sake of buying something.

Hmmmm..most of the time no. Coz the sale item most of the time I dun like wan. Hardly do I see sale item that can be "bought" and dump into my wardrobe until one day i can use...

One way to prevent it, put all ur cards at home!
Take enough cash for meals and you wun go on a spending spree!

ya, for me, if the sale is like 20% off and my wallet gives the 'GO' sign, i will usually grab something.. sometimes like going home empty handed i will feel like this trip nt v worthwhile..

tendency for me to buy something when there's a sale is very high, because it is worth it to buy during the sales, not because of impulse buying.
but then, normally, i don't wait until sales to buy stuff...

Hardly. Unless I really like that something. Chances are that I usually buy something during a sale, coz I never believe in paying the full marked up value.

it doesn't apply to me
i only buy when i need the product. for example, i bought a jeans during the sale and that's the only item i bought.

Used to be a shoppaholic and always insisting on purchasing something from sales. Have mellow down and grow wiser over the years. Discpline myself nowadays to buy what I need & not what I want instead

I only buy if I think its worth. I usually think how much the item is worth to me... if higher than price and its something i want.. i will buy..

dont need wait for sale or any special occasion
