Anyone know where to get the BEST AUTHENTIC TAKOYAKI ?
so far, i know there's only 2 takoyaki stalls in singapore which is Takopochi (bugis, orchard, bishan juncti8n, etc) & Wow Tako (raffles city & used to have one at plaza singapura basement).. and so far i found Takopochi has the best taste compared to Wow Tako (im not sure if this local brand or what..)
but anyone ever tried any takoyaki on any japanese restaurants? are they better than the ones sold in the takoyaki stalls? :handsup:

hmmm, instead of eating at those outlets, you can actually try it at the PLAZA SINGAPURA FOODCOURT, the japanese store, they sell Tako Yaki too. It taste much heavenly then you eat at those outlets... Recommened.. | |

agree agree, i have tried once at the 7eleven outlet..
It not nice to eat.. So troublesome too, have to spread those mayo and sauce over the tako yaki then make hot... Its not nice. outside is crispy, inside is very yucky indeed. i've also tried the okonomiyaki before. Omelette noodles* both cannot make it....

the raffles one the flavour more strong la.

pasar malam also got sell takoyaki, but the most authentic one should be the one with tako inside.  | |

I like the one at Bugis. Sometimes at other places, see those already pre cooked and probably cold, still sell to people. Definitely boycott the place. Takoyaki should be eaten when it is just cooked. | |

till today i still cant find any REAL AND AUTHENTIC takoyaki in singapore. a good takoyaki shouldnt be too gooey and has the hint of the fragrance of shallots and the octopus piece should be huge and succulent...
