Taiwan Trip in June

Hi,

I'm planning to go Taiwan in June. However i know nothing about there and the good places to visit or stay. So i'm wondering if there are anyone who has been there who can recommend me.

btw which part of taiwan u will be going??? so that i can give u some gd place to visit and stay.

i just back frm taiwan in march...

if in taipei, u can go to "dan Shui"

there veri nice and have gd food. is also the best place to see sunset.

go to the "Xi Men Ding". its a gd place for youngsters to shop. and quite cheap. if u lucky , u can see celebrities there as that the the most popular place among all youngsters.

go around taipei's night markets. there are alot of it. super nice n super gd food. then gt streets shops selling cheap shoes, clothes and accessories etc.

there also alot of so called bear bear catcher shops. very cheap. is only SGD$0.50 per game. all sizes bear bear is at the same price.

for place to stay u can find some budget hotel there.try search in internet. as for mi i din stay in hotel as i gt taiwanese friends there and i stay at my friend's house.

if you wan more infomation, u can go buy the Taiwan guide book and read thru.. gt alot of infomations inside.

FYI, i will go to taiwan in dis dec and next yr feb. can sae every yr i will go there.

my boss also wanted to plan a taiwan trip in jun.. but my colleague said it's summer there in june.. super hot leh!

ya dan shui is nice. got lots of things to eat and many games to play too. Very accessible as well. Just take their mrt to dan shui station.

If you read other forums, many people will recommend staying in Rainbow hotel in ximending. If you are going to travel around by mrt in Taipei, I will recommend that you look for hotels near the mrt station - Taipei Main Station, rather than ximending. The station is something like City Hall/Raffles Place interchange. You will be able to access many different mrt lines from Taipei Main Station.

I juz came back from Taiwan in Jan... though juz months back.. but well.. kinda miss the place down there..

Hotels? If u going shopping area, most common one is Rainbow Hotel at Xi Men Ting.. if it is fully booked.. u can try East dragon, if u aren't expecting much from a hotel.. juz a nice bed to slp at nite....

Xi Men Ting definitely has much to shop!!! I can intro one place that's nice to shop.. It is call Wu Fen Pu... it is like Hong Kong Nu Ren Jie!~ muahahha.... and its cheap!! Real cheap if u can bargain!!! haha...

si lin food is not realli that nice le.. gt even best place than there..
dan shui there the food even beta then si lin.

But some of the foods in Si lin won't be having in Dan Shui.. Alot of variety of food in Si lin and Dan Shui and also can shop. Anyway it's up to individual to choose.

Oh ya. If u are in Dan Shui, try thier BBQ Chou Tofu ( fragmented tofu), u may like it or u may not like it, It's the 1st of the kind..

For me i love fragmented Tofu, so i did tried alot of diff tofu.. BUt didnt get to try the Ma La Chou To fu..

Actually rite.. Taipei is very easily accessible by the MRT.. u can try TAM SHUI... not bad.. and SHI LIN ye shi is not alighting at SHI LIN stop.. haha.. is else where.. cant remember where..
and where else.. i really forgot.. lol... i go browse thru my photo album then tell u again lolx..

i'm going taiwan (taipei) with my friends this june too... so have u booked ur air ticket and hotel liao??? i'm still planning where to go during my trip... haha... still lots of things to be planned!! Arghh!
