Take the gao tie(Bullet Train)... But why do u want to go love river??? First thing, I went there no that fantastic... And do u know why is it call love river is because once upon a time, one mother sell herself there and make love with man there to earn money for her children... Then later a lot of woman did the same thing... Something like Geylang...

The looks look like Singapore river... Nothing much at kaoshiung la... Night market lor...

taiwan is a easy place to travel. just buy a guide book for refering if you wanna go bagpack.

The rough guide to TAIWAN selling @ borders is a very good guide book...at least this is wat i gather after a few comparison wif other travel book...now borders got discount on the rough guide.

i gt this book. i bought it a borders at $34+

cheap. it really shows the most impt things in the country. guide u on hotel, how to get there and description of places.

Yah...

I used to buy guide books, then i realized that its better to do the research from here and just carry the necessary info along on the trip...

SO these days, i would start borrowing the guide books 6 mth ahead and read and check out the recommended websites.

Yes...but i think if u wanna go around taiwan, this is a good book to invest in...i'm going there next week...so i can utilise this book again...think i'll never hv enough of taiwan

really interesting!

and not forgetting their flea markets!!
yummy yummy food and cheap clothes, too bad that time was winter and there wasn't much

if you are going free & easy, best no. of pple to go is 4 pax...can share cab which is cheaper....
tats wat i did for my last trip there...actually quite worth it..u can choose your own time, own pace.
