been to Taiwan/Taipei.

i think it's a land of food, food and more food!

shopping isn't very cheap in Taiwan but affordable.

Shih Lin is huge and great and the Taiwanese are really friendly and warm!

went taipei early tis yr.. the weather is veri veri coolin lorz.. haha.. its a food paradise.. can eat n eat n eat lorz.. but the clothings wise is abt the same here lorz.. dint buy mani clothin.. spent all my money on food.. went to diff ye shi at nite.. haha

tink ard dec to mar ba.. coz i went in mar.. the weather is abt to change to spring.. so stil quite coolin.. the lowest temp when im there is 16.. haha

I don't like Taipei. Nothing fantastic, in my opinion. Given a choice, I'll opt for Vietnam, a city I've yet to been.

Aww I love Taiwan! We had a great tour there, because my mom has lots of Taiwanese friends who showed us around besides just the normal tourist traps (shopping district, ahah!). The shopping there really rocks though : D Love the weather, and their friendly people!

Been there in Jan...Totally enjoyed the trip...Delicious Food, Cooling weather, Friendly people...what more can you expect?!!
Taipei..went to explore all the night markets, went to YANG MING SHAN and enjoyed the hot spring there...
Tai Chung..got my hands on all the TAI YANG BING...hohohoho..SUNMOON LAKE was a waste of time though
KAO XIONG-LOVE LAKE!
F&E is no problem as transportation is a breeze...bus is cheaper and faster than subway for some places. Stayed at this Hotel call JIN CAI SHEN...oppo xi men ding...not too bad..cheap and decent!

i wan to go but hb said dont wan.. he said all the foods in taiwan can be found in singapore and both of us not into shopping.. so lagi no need to go .. aiyooooo

Eh. Cannot. Here got so-called taiwan food lah, but it's different and more authentic when you eat it there, and of course they taste better.

I couldn't find better xiao long baos in Singapore. *GRIN* Their food very power! Orh ah mee sua, muah chee, even takoyaki also taste better!

The smelly tofu smell like drain (really, initially i really thought got some big longkang nearby -_-), but tastes good.

I also miss the food... I love Shihlin night market!!!

Imagine sipping the soup from the "tang bao" (which is no different than xiao long bao leh LOL) when the weather is cold... SHIOK. And the bing tang hu lu I ate at Xiao Ren Guo... Cherry tomatoes! Singapore ones suck. Heh heh.
