i enounter one recently. the person actually called me ytd, and asked me to go down for a job interview today - sunday.
Worst at 7PM?! :surprised:
When asked about how he got my contact number, he say he got it through agencies.
I doubt agencies would gave away client's contact number without any permission.
I 4gt the name of this company but its located at Capital Land Building @ Raffles.
I asked about the job scope. He said that it was basically assisting managers, such as presentation, customer service, paper work etc.
That makes me an assistant manager?!?! :confused2:
He also mentioned that the office is opened everyday, even on sunday.
Kinda weird, cuz normally office only work max 5.5 days??

In that case, call again tomorrow and ask about the exact address of the company, it's full company name, the contact person's name etc. The you can do a search on yellowpages. To really check whether this company exist, do a search via ACRA here: ACRA website

I seriously doubt it's via an agency. The agency's staff will contact you first before referring you to go for an interview. And no interviews would be conducted by any decent company at 7pm.

I suspect that it's either a direct sales or a MLM company. If still in doubt, I suggest you reject the interview immediately. You don't have anything to lose by missing out this interview.

i've got the exact address. Its at 39 robinson road, robinson point, capital land building lvl 10.
just that i dunno the exact name of the company.
i din went for the interview. My friends adviced me not to go too.

oh that building ah. if i nv remember wrong the company is called Venture Era. at raffles place there....near lao pat sat. i work b4 there and i know about their system. they talk nonsense say get from agencies. actually is ur fren or somebody who knows u and have ur contact number working there..they will write down the contacts and somebody will dial for u and ask them out for job interview.

wah..hardworking...anyway they don't call themself MLM company and they find it offending if u call them MLM company. They say they are Network Marketing (NM) company instead..but i see no difference LOL. only the way they earn is different from MLM. i still have friends working there. oh ya another thing. LFI (Long Far dunno wad) company in paya lebar area oso doing similar things only that they are marketing the product endorsed by marcus chin - B&H Capsules. they are doing other products too. LFI requires u to FORK OUT MONEY and pay for products den u sell to others, whereas VentureEra DO NOT require u to fork a single cent for their own product and u start marketing to others. $2000 for LFI to join them *get the products* - something like BELAIR, $0 for Venture Era. still MLM ways of marketing products for both companies if u ask me.
