Hello everyone,

juz wanna ask if there are any strict rules & regulations that your company come up with that you pple find them silly & stupid?

For me, staffs in my current company have to work a min of 3 hrs after normal working hrs (8.30am-5.45pm) before we can claim OT, & the OT pay is only a miserable $25 (no matter how long you work), instead of the x1.5 rate as recommended by MOM. Even worse, we have to work until 11pm before we can claim taxi fare & my company is located in Joo Koon, near Tuas, which is a very ulu place. At nite, it is so damn quiet & dark... perfect place for crimes to happen... very dangerous, esp us, women. :disgust2:

Stupid rules.. i believe almost every companies sure got. For my company .. -

1) We have to clock timesheet everyday when we reach office.. this is instal in the computer. Have to click watever u are doing at that time.. Eg.. Even if one person go downstair to smoke.. have to clock that also. Go lunch also must clock.. Basically our UK office is monitoring our every steps.

2) Make sure the timesheet clock full 8 hrs before u can knock off.. if not after sometimes sure kena question by manager

3) Only can claim taxi claim after 10pm

4) No OT pay at all .. dont say OT .. AWS and BOnus also no..

ok.. i think that all .. but I m veri sure onli my company got the 1st and 2nd points.

My previous company also something similiar.

Points 1-4 same. Except the bonus part is depends on profit. If good, then get. Else dun have also.

Wah! I thought only local companies are the v.niao ones, & that MNCs are the ones that are quite flexible with the rules & regulations of the company? Ur company seems to be the opp. :surprised:

i thot normally local firm quite flexible.. so that actually use timesheet to monitor u all also.. hehehe.. i thot onli my company did that .. cos all my frens when they heard abt the timesheet they were like.."huh" wat is that.. *LOL*

I was very surprise also when my GM told me that.. i asked her.. wat is that.. is our head office trying to monitor us.. scare we eat snake har.. =X And this is the onli MNC i worked got this kind of thing.. =.="

i tink i am blessed to work in my current company.. no strict rules and regulations.. time is flexible too..
