One of the greatest enemy of the FOREX Trader is discipline. A Trader without the discipline to see through his plan of action and follow through on a well structured plan will see a failure and loss where a big profit would have been in place had he or she just stuck to the initial plan.

Too very often a Trader works out a brilliant strategy, initiates it and then change it so many times as it goes along and end up losing and not having it work for them.

Sticking to the original working plan requires a great deal of discipline which many traders may not be able to handle. It could however be done if detailed instructions were set with the broker and these instructions are then SET in STONE with no possibility of alterations. This ensures that the plan is carried through to it's final outcome, whatever that might be.

Such a setup will ensure that the plan is carried out, for better or for worse and the eventual outcome will be either a big win or a small loss.

Well structured strategies cater for the disciplined approach that a trader might not be able to form on his or her own.

We have structured strategies that consist of a 7 position pyramid that you could place with us and we will carry it our accordingly.

How it works.

The 7 position pyramid consists of 7 positions in total and these are placed at specific locations. We start with one position, lets say you decide to buy EUR/JPY and the first position is initiated at 161.00. You will have a profit position at 163.00 and a stoploss at 160.00. So the only outcome is either a profit at 163.00 or a loss at 160.00

The second level position consists of 2 positions which will come into play if your stoploss gets triggered. So your second level trigger for 2 position buys of EUR/JPY will come in at 160.02, two pips before you get stopped out in the first position. This will get initiated with 162.02 as profit point and stoploss at 159.02.

The third level position consists of 4 positions which will come into play if your second stoploss gets triggered. So your third level trigger for 4 position buys of EUR/JPY will come in at 158.02. Your total loss if it comes down to this is 7 positions. If you are doing the $27 units then it would be $189.

Let's look at profitabilities now.

If your first stoploss never gets triggered, you will have a profit of $48
(2 times $25 minus fees $2)

If your second stoploss does not get triggered, you will have a profit of $71
(2 times $50 minus $25 minus fees $4)

If your third stoploss does not get triggered, you will have a profit of $117
(2 times $100 minus $75 minus fees $8)

If your third stoploss gets triggered you will have a loss of $189
(7 times $25 plus fees $14)

So you start with a position at 161.00 and have varying degrees of profitabilties depending on what the market does and a total loss at 158.02

It is extremely rare to have the market move almost 3 big figures against you.
