Standard Chartered marathon aims to S$500,000 for charity

SINGAPORE: Participation numbers have been going up for the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon.

But its organisers also want to increase the amount the event will raise for charity.

A record 48,000 runners are expected to pound the streets of Singapore on December 7.

But its organisers are also hoping to raise S$500,000 for charity.

The amount will benefit seven charities under the Community Chest umbrella.

The route will be changed to include iconic sites like the Singapore Flyer and the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. -CNA/vm

What's your timming for 10km run?

wat the whole route in km.at sku run 2.4km ald wan to peng liaoz.

The last time I run 10km is during my NSF time haha

Full marathon is 42km

Half marathon is 21km

Yes, training is required and before training, a health check first.
