a collegue of mine had to abort her pregnancy at about 9 weeks due to no heartbeat on the fetus. She told me she'll need to pray (perform some ritual ) in temple for the unborn child after abortion.

she believe if she dont do it, the unborn child spirit cannot be reincarnate and will follow her.

Care to share if u ever heard such thing? Do u believe?

No heartbeat = dead mah. She also didn't do it purposely. Believing is alright but I feel sometimes too much is just too much.:shifty3:

yes she can choose to keep her child into a statue or amulet. She can keep it as a KMT. You can ask around for more infomation.

Normally the unborn baby's spirit will fellow the father instead of the mother... As i heard from my frens... Not so sure about it....

but i tot keep dead unborn bb is called as 'gui kia'. Tot got diff between KMT & 'gui kia'?

anyhow, tis collegue of mine told me she heard from a frenz tat a lady frenz whom after abortion, the family was in bad luck till they saw a medium tat told them they din perform proper ritual, so the 'kid' was following them.

from what i heard is... becoz this child is not born yet and already got killed, his time is not up yet. when arrived to the nether world, he will continue to develop there and when reached the right time, he will be 'born' out but then will not be a human. but a spirit instead. then he will continue to grow up like a normal kid in the nether world lor.

i have a friend who has went through 3 abortions... i really dont mind helping her adopting all her aborted children and keep them as kmt. but then dont have the fetus body or tomb leh...:handsup:

鬼童 refers to a child spirit. but a kmt is a child spirit who has went through some rituals and became a kmt. it is something like a low rank god la (like 土地公)

the problem with us is human beings are alway less bother to go by the
right channel to find out the truth and proper way of doing certain thing
they need to do. most of the time, they only asking around which some
are not in the position of giving the advice at all. in the end, everything
is heresay theresay...

as such, i actually created a blog myself to explain all these. if you

basically diff religions got diff ways of treating this issue.
mahayanese buddhists will leave it to the temple to settle the issue.
theravadin buddhists will do it tru the kmt way.
so its entirely up to each individual to decide how they want to do it.
in my own opinion,its best to get a monk to do it because he is someone who represents the buddha and in terms of realms wise,buddhahood is the ultimate level so the power of his dharmma will be the most appropriate to do it.
but of cos this may be rebutted by another person who may have a total different set of beliefs from me

I heard it before.. Actually whether is it religious based anot, all this kind of ritual is a form of mind relaxing. After a mother perform le, she may feel at ease, coz at least she have "settle" her unborn child. Otherwise she will feel that she never do anything for her unborn baby, then she will start thinking of unrealistic things, which may turn into nightmare, illusion etc.

Religious or any ritual perform is just an act to ease our mind.

I read your link but could not relate any link to the KMT discussion. The story there is just telling how the temple medium with the help of deity dee ya pek 二爷伯 subdue the spirit. Further more you are linking an suspended account under Taxi Uncle of reasons unknown. :handsup:
