hi fren, just curious...does pple tt play hook and pple that play spinner use different ball? is the core inside different? or same depending on how u throw only?...thanks!!

if the spinner is using a 11-lb, and the hook bowler using a 14-lb (normal scenario), same ball model, reactive ball... then yes, there is a difference in the core. coach should be able to explain in more details.

i know the 11 12lb ball have different core from most of the 13 14 15 16lb..but what i mean actually was do they have ball specially make for spinners one? or does spinner use a specific type of ball? i know most of the ball will have a hook potential value, see how well it will hook, but spinner like dont have this kinda thing right?...hahaha..

if i can recall, there used to be spinner balls back in my time like close to a decade ago... hahaha... they were saying that these balls were made specially for spinners (designed by taiwanese i think). i think such balls are no longer in the market liaox.

so yeah... actually spinners don't really need to look at hook potential or stuff like dat, since the core is modified like what coach said, so it really doesn't make any difference.

having said that, one driller once told me that usually for spinners, they will look for balls with the pin right underneath the cg (cg at north and pin at south) since their ball moves like a helicopter... i dunno how true that is, but my latest spinner ball is like dat one. hehehehe...

My spinner ball is bought in taiwan, can feel the weight is diff from hook ball

i mean 1 is a 15lb ball and the other is just a 11lb ball......

even if its 11lb vs 11lb how diff can it be when both are also 11lb?

no diff one.... spinning with a spinner's ball or with a normal reactive ball will not yield different results. in fact, if i can recall, those spinner balls hor, all solid color one... i.e. no pattern like those normal reactive balls, so u can't really see it spinning oso... hahaha...
