Very Bad Service
  1. Okay as you all know, singnet had a promotion which gives a laptop + integrated wireless modem for around 80++$ a month.
  2. My mom wana get a new laptop for me so she go sign up that plan, since our previous plan is about to end anyways.
  3. Our plan activated on the 8th of DECEMBER.
  4. We call and ask how to collect the laptop they say WAIT TWO WORKING WEEKS AND A REDEMPTION LETTER WILL BE SENT TO US.
  5. We waited 2 weeks like some cookoo, and the letter haven't arrive. We call again, and they told us that WE MUST GO TO REWARDSLINK AT 'THE ADELPHI' TO COLLECT. KNN WASTE TWO WEEKS
  6. They gave us the RewardsLink number, which is 63392923.
  7. We went to collect, they have this 'promotion', they upgrade your laptop to a better version for $321. But the better brand of laptop haven't arrive, we say okay.
  8. We ask when the laptop come, they say 26/12/07, which is a WEDNESDAY.
  9. The RewardsLink had such a bad customer service - you don't believe, u call their number and it will connect for 30++ minutes and the auto-thingy kept saying 'All our customer services are engaged at the moment'. The opening hours are 11:30 to 7:30 on weekdays. Try calling them.
  10. And we trust the person who told us the laptop arrive on Wed, so we went. We cant call thru to make sure whether arrive mah... when we reach there they say THE LAPTOP NEVER ARRIVE AT ALL... MUST WAIT UNTIL 2/1/08 (wednesday)...
  11. Then they ask whats our number say will call us to confirm.
  12. Wednesday dey nv call us so we called them, AND AGAIN, WE WASTE 30 MINUTES AND NO ONE ANSWER THE DAMN PHONE.
  13. And we went there they tell us the laptops had already been FULLY REDEEMED, NO MORE.... we ask y they nv call us they say RESERVE FOR THOSE DAMN PEOPLE BLAH BLAH.
  14. Then they say don't worry, 7th Jan sure arrive. (we asked another officer and he said 9th Jan arrive), cb, everyone different info..
  15. They didnt call us on BOTH 7th and 9th. We tried calling them but NOONE PICK UP (again), u shld try calling man... cb no one pick up, den wats the point of having a phone.
  16. Then finally get through, they say saturday (today).
  17. AND TODAY THEY SAY SORRY HAVENT ARRIVE MUST WAIT UNTIL MONDAY.


And it's one month ++ already.

LOL, i had a similar problem last time, their customer service hotline really CANNOT MAKE IT LAR!

keep on ask you to hang on then i hold the call for like 30 min still no one attend to me. really damn dog, i was damn pissed lor.

Great, while at it, let me add in that i have been facing internet connection problems for the past 5-6months. For the first 2-4 months, my internet connection always gets cut from 7pm to 11pm everyday. Yes, everyday monday to sunday without fail. I pay the bill without fail.

So far, they have sent 5 people to my place on 4 different occasion. Each time the technical hotline operator telling me they are sending a specialist who is higher/more skilled than the previous one, which makes me wonder how many level of specialist do they have.

The first technician came and reset the main telephone line,it failed. The second technician came and changed the telephone plugs,it failed. The third technician came with a manager and they directed the main telephone into my study room (which resulted in the living room's and the master bedroom's being cut) and the technician proudly declared 'the problem is solved. 80% sure can work', it failed. The last one is the best, he came, he watched youtube for 30mins, and told me he can't find the problem, said the problem probably lies at the back-end at the singnet server.

Now almost everyday im still faced with internet disconnection from 7pm to 11pm..it's suppose to be unlimited broadband im paying for..does anyone have the same problem here?

i only kanna minor d/c rarely. i using the mio plans.. The most recent d/c was i think 1-2 days back. Happen at ard 1am-2am.. my frens also tio.

The spaces between our fingers were created so that another person's fingers could fill them in

u should give them a call, request to speak with the customer service manager, and then jack him/her over the phone, thats wat i did and they'll compensate me month or 2 worth of waivers. Used to have those irritating disconnection problems too, the linesman (or watever they call 'em) have been to my place more than 20 times last year

haha.. so for, mine singnet got no problems... just tat last time new2, i kena pay bills expensive.. den suddenly the bill drop... a few mnths back, my mom dun need to pay a single cents... dunno why... ((:

haha singnet has bad service de. starhub is better. redemption and everything at funan. so easy. My plan just over december. then go get laptop, very fast. 1 week can get already.

dun be too one sided.. everything has its strength... for starhub, some website cannot go... lyke my fren use to occur bcoz of some things.. but for singet im using, just fine.. any website can go... not slow connection either...

Erm..
I faced similar problems when i shifted my place..
Its a old house hence the lines are pretty old as well.i could not connect to the internet but there is connection reflecting.
1. change plug
2. there is connection, the technician can connect but by the time he left cannot connect again
3. connect problem with the back end , the guy mentioned that its shld have be reset when there is a new ppl moving in.
4. Not to forget abt the customer service, who divert me every where..ANd i have spend 30 - 1hr waiting and scolding them

I was like.... after 3 rd time.. finally i can surf~

BOTTOM LINE ---------- Singnet suxs ( keep lagging , keep dcing )

Use Starhub ... Might be abit more expensive ( abit only, i mean like $3-$5 ) .. not tat sure though.. BUT ITS MUCH MORE WORTH IT... Better Quality , Better Service

So many people dun like. hello? singnet is lousy. u call their service for technical issue. must wait 30mins+ or 1 hour to get through. I used before when i was at my old house. it was the first internet. 56kbps. But then i have been a starhub customer from year 2000/2001. i like their technical service and service attitude.

lol.. maybe for you and some of them here.. but for me and my frens, signet havent been a problems for us yet...... so dun call singnet lousy as you dun have 100% support and not all singnet user having a problems... if singnet is lousy, they would have lots of complaints and even close down..
