i'm really interested in singing and want to learn singing but the prob is singing lessons are just too ex..

any suggestions ?

well u can listen to music or watch MTV and sing along. for i think for beginners most important is the pitching la, best is u have music background. or u got a tuned musical instrument at home, try singing in tune first. (oh ya one important thing - u musnt be tone-deaf) scales & appregios are useful for vocal exercises to broaden one's vocal range. try singing the simpler songs first maybe? to build a foundation.

o.. i've alreasy done lots of research about singing and personally had some experiences also. just wanna improve my voice but then looking for some ways that doesn't cost that much or free. :mellow3:

yeah.. joining the sch choir is a good way to learn singing.. for FREE!

miss my choir sessions..! although the songs we sang were kinda boring.. (no pop songs!) but i owe my singing voice and techniques to my previous choir sessions! (but alas.. long time nv do the warm up exercise for my voice.. hence my voice is not as good as it used to be.. *sob sob*)

actually honestly, u need to see it from someone and learn face to face. no matter how much u learn thru paper, it doesnt help de...u can grasp the concept and everything, but at the end of the day, u wouldnt improve if u haf nobody to correct u on ur mistakes...so if u've got an issue wif singing, then i tink the best is get someone for opinions. go for lessons, go ktv wif frens, watever. beats reading up n tinking u've got it anytime. =)
