The static displays are too close together, making the place look so small. There are fewer displays indoors. There are fewer flight demonstrations. There are fewer freebies.

And worst of all, the crowd control was unbelievably poor at the bus/taxi queues!

Here's a picture at 2pm, at the outgoing bus "queue". The crowds were rushing the buses! It was chaos! People were getting frustrated and angry!

that place is hard to go without transport...u cant expect transport to be accesible there..so u have to wait..

as for the airshow..there re more display aircrafts this year ...

There are LESS display aircraft in this airshow. I am an airplane nut and I've gone to previous airshows.

Mee too....they even put the JSF 35 away from the crowds and placed it somewhere secluded...-.-. IYeah i agree that most planes are put too close that my camera wide angle lens cannot fit in.

Yup, there are fewer static displays and the aerial displays, well missed quite a big part of it as was caught in the jam!

I agreed with some of you, the crowd control at the shuttle pick up area was really very bad though I didn't took the shuttle service there.

Judging from our standards, I feel that our air shows could have better stunts...
But not to the extent of risking accidents like those air shows from some other countries...
Or else that'll be headline news for god knows how many days...

there is... now would u rather pay $20 for airshow or go RSAF open house for free??
RSAF open house only see military planes and only those mindef buy lioz..
airshow see diff types of planes..

i prefer open house.. free! then see,feel,and hear the F-16s take off in front of ur eyes for dynamic display.. no acrobatics ..


Perhaps Singapore Airshow Organisers not as up to Asian Aerospace organisers..
maybe 2010 will be better..
