SIM-RMIT ACCOUNTANCY - Aug 2008 intake anyone? - Singapore's Online Community

hi..i just accepted SIM-RMIT accountancy course...anyone here here same batch as me..4 aug 2008 intake? would like to know you guys first...maybe we can help each other..

Hi, I understand if I enrol into UniSIM, I will get 40% subsidies from the government. How about their Global Education programme? I intend to take up their UOL degree at SIM. Will I still be eligible for the government subsidies?

Also between SMU and SIM, I can't seems to figure out which one is better in terms of offering? If I go overseas, will a SMU degree be more regconize than SIM-UOL degree?

huage~~ XD woots i'm not in the Aug 08 batch~ but i'm i nthe Aug 07 batch!!! LOL~ ya~ so i m now in my second yr part time course liao =P heehee~

It is only applicable to local degrees.

haha...i now start to get use to the SIM sch life....i also waiting for the yr 2..i wan to work also...lol..btw how;s the work and study at the same time? stressful/? btw, do u still the notes or test / exams papers for the past 2 sem, esp the first sem? hehe

lOL~ first sem~ hmmM~ 4 mods right? intro to acc, marketing, macroecons and buiz com ya? LOL~ i think most of the things for my batch cannot be used for urs lehx =x~ LOL!! cos its like the books and all changed!!! > < i may have some of the stuffs~ they are in a huge messy stack in my cupboard!!! =(

working and studying? XD working part time now~ but its quite tough *to me* cos its like projects and all with deadlines, new modules and ermmm tests and all very packed! > < although i may change to full time soon~ *need the $$* still worry cant cope well la~ =) best if can cope with WEEKEND AND AFTER 12 MIDNIGHT STUDYING! if not sure die =) good lucks to u! ^^

anyway you need macroecons textbook? i dun need it anymore. if u wan just sell u cheap lo, better then wasting money buy from popular

wow sounds very stressful and tough to cope in second yr when u working and studying at the same time. Just another question, u mean second yr still have project to do..how many project r there in u sem? abit sian when u working full time then still doing project cos u need to find time to do project with u group mates from u busy schedule of work. lol...gd to hear that u actually enjoy it. abit perverted to say when ppl r so pack with things to do and stressful over work and study, yet they still enjoying it..haha..actually i;m such person too...cos i feel that the life is fully pack and arrange so that i nv wasting any mins of my lifev

yesh~ i dun like wasting time away~ =)) not perverted la! juz that if u meet the right people to be with in Uni u will enjoy it =)

currently in sem 3~ I got 2 projects! Cost Management and FInancial Accounting =x LOL~ *dies* i think sem 4 got another one too~ not too sure~ x= but i heard from sem 6 will not have any more acc. modules! =))

ya lo, i got to know a few people from your batch too. Some who failed their IA or Mgt accounting.
