This year, SHINE Youth Fest 2007, a youth-led celebration organised by NYC, is set to be a platform for youth to showcase and celebrate youth talent, expression and activism in Singapore. The event will be kick-started with an Official Launch by Parlimentary Secretary Mr Teo Ser Luck, followed by various activities that will occur throughout the day. These include a MotoCross Challenge, SHINE exhibition, World Cyber Games Asian Championship/ Singapore National Finals, and more!

Come join in the fun on the 30th of June 2007! Present a SHINE 2007 ZO card at the Launch and stand a chance to win movie tickets and Nintendo DS Lites while stocks last!

yes. i'll be there as well. a group of volunteers (SHINE Mobil Volunteers) will be roaming around Orchard this weekend. Do lookout for them!

2) WCG 2007 World Cyber Games Asian Championship Singapore National Finals – Shine Festival

Date: 30 Jun 2007
Time: 10am - 4pm
Venue: National Youth Council

WCG 2007 World Cyber Games Asian Championship Singapore National Finals - Shine Festival is a special gaming tournament co-organised with World Cyber Games (WCG) and managed by Singapore Gamers' Association (SGGA) - a non-profit consumer association.

As part of this event, potential gamers with good cyber-sports skills would be invited for informal matches against local experts and regional youth gamers during the WCG 2007 Asian Championship.

This also provides a great opportunity for youth to try out the latest XBOX360 games as well as to interact with regional youth gamers. The public is also welcome to try out the Next-Gen machines (XaviX) and stand a chance of winning a whole set home!

Quest cards will be distributed to the public and upon the completion of the quests, individuals will get to walk away with E2Max gaming vouchers*. What's more, come down with your family and win a pair of movie tickets* on top of the gaming vouchers!

Attractive Polaroid shots would also be taken, so be sure to be there and join in the fun!

3) Shine Motocross @ *scape

Date: 30 Jun 2007
Time: 10am - 10pm
Venue: *scape Field (Beside Orchard Cineleisure)

The biggest motocross Challenge in town ever! Free try-outs for the public! Disabled youths from various VWOs will be present for the event. Watch out for appearances by Channel U Project Superstars too! Other events include a bike design and photography contest.
